Trillium Grants Announced

Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent is receiving an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant worth $368,200.
The three-year grant is to help the organization establish a ReStore location as they lease a retail space, renovate the location, and hire a full-time store manager.
Meanwhile, $28,000 is going to the Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board.
That money will be used to determine if a micro-lending program for entrepreneurs would be viable in Chatham-Kent.
