Cycling Festival Launches
Cyclists will hit the roads of Chatham-Kent this summer for a good cause.
June 21 marks the the first CK Cycling Festival to raise money for adaptive bikes for the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent.
“To raise money to stay here in our own community and support cycling,” says organizer Ann McKenzie. “So what better way to do that than to think about inclusion, and include adaptive bikes for people that can ride normal bikes.”
The festival includes a bike rodeo, family fun rides, an 8 km ride, and longer 50-100 km rides through Chatham-Kent. For more details or to register, visit www.ckcyclingfest.com.
