Age Friendly Project Launches
A program aimed at making Chatham-Kent more inclusive and accessible for seniors is gaining momentum.
The age friendly project is being run by the CK Seniors Advisory Committee, and surveys and focus groups start next month.
“We will invite all residents in Chatham-Kent over the age of 50 to share with us the things we can do better in the community to address their needs,” says Coordinator Devin Andrews. “Whether they’re wanting to talk about their needs today, or something that they anticipate needing in 20 to 30 years from now.”
The surveys will be also be available starting next week at municipal service centres, seniors facilities, the public library and online at www.ckseniors.ca.
