Maple Fest A Success (VIDEO)

More than 600 people took part in the second annual Shrewsbury Maple Syrup Festival Saturday.
Tanya Franssen brought her kids and husband out to see how maple syrup is made and enjoy the pancakes.
Franssen says she didn’t want to miss out on the event. “We were in Florida last year. Friends of ours sent us the notice and so this year we made sure we made it here,” says Franssen. “The maple syrup is unbelievable, I’m going to make sure I buy some.”
Money raised will go into maintenance and repairs to the community centre in Shrewsbury.
