Drunk Driving Charge In Tilbury

A 22-year-old Tilbury man is charged with impaired driving and will appear in court at a future date.
Chatham-Kent police report around 2:30am on Saturday, a dark Ford pick-up truck was stopped by police along St. Clair St. in Tilbury.
Once the truck was stopped, the driver decided to turn the truck around but drove into a second cruiser involved in the stop. Only minor damage is reported and no one was hurt.
The accused is also charged with danegerous driving and over the legal limit for blood-alcohol level.
