A pair of Chatham-Kent natives finished the OHL regular season on top.
Dane Fox of Thamesville led the league in goals with 64. The 20-year-old forward with the Erie Otters had never scored more than 19 goals in his previous five seasons in the league, which he tallied last year.
Meantime, 17-year-old Travis Konecny of Clachan was the top point getter for all rookies. The Ottawa 67’s forward finished the season with 26 goals and 44 assists for 70 points.
The OHL regular season wrapped-up last night and the playoffs officially get underway on Thursday.
