Olympian Talks Mental Health (VIDEO)
Canadian Olympian Clara Hughes is hoping a stop at Ursuline College in Chatham will help students think differently about mental health issues.
Hughes is biking across Canada to raise awareness about mental health and remove the stigma attached to it.
“It’s just a matter of opening that conversation and letting all these students, all the young Canadians know that they have a chance to impact change,” says Hughes. “They have the power to do that. And just encouraging them and injecting them with belief and they can do it. I believe in them.”
Hughes will speak in Windsor this evening at the Ciaciaro Club at 7:15pm.
