The Chatham Maroons are heading back home with a commanding three games to none lead over the LaSalle Vipers in their GOJHL semi-final playoff series.

Vipers coach and former Maroons bench boss Bill Bowler says his old team took advantage when they had the chance.

“Happy with the way our guys compete and that but, we’re making some mistakes at the wrong times and give them credit, they’re capitalizing on their chances,” says Bowler.

The Maroons took control of the game in the second period with three goals and held off a late surge by the Vipers for the 5-4 win. Chatham goaltender Jacob Keogh made 42 saves in the win with Adam Arsenault and Trevor Richardson each scoring twice.
