MPPs Wrap Up March Break
MPPs across the region used the March break to catch up with local issues.
Chatham-Kent-Essex MPP Rick Nicholls met with businesses.”Down in the Wheatley area I’m hearing of stories of businesses that again have been unduly fined by the Ministry of Labour and we’re looking into some of the reasons as to why and the extent they have been fined.”
Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MPP Monte McNaughton recently spent some time in Bothwell. He says people are honing in on a couple of issues.”Without a doubt it’s the cost of electricity, that’s number one,” says McNaughton. “Number two is the waste and scandal in government in general.”
McNaughton says he has heard horror stories of bills ranging from $800-$1000.The provincial legislature resumes Monday.
