Public Urged To Write Minister

Following the recent suicide of an inmate at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre, Windsor West MPP Lisa Gretzky’s urging the public to write the minister who oversees Ontario’s jails.

Around 150 growers, producers, suppliers and buyers gathered for the first ever Agri-business and Food Showcase in the region hosted by the Windsor-Essex Economic Development Corporation.

Tomato Harvest 75% Complete

The early tomato harvest was slow, but recent good weather has helped farmers catch up, according to officials with the Ontario Processing Vegetable Growers.
