Meaford Museum Triples Visitor Numbers

The unusually cold and stormy winter did not keep people away from the Meaford Museum.

The Museum’s coordinator reports the number of visitors to the museum during the first three months of this year shot up to more than triple what it was for the same period of 2013.

Saugeen and Maitland Flood Threats Ease

Local flooding concerns have eased. A Flood Watch remains in effect for the Saugeen River system. The SVCA’s Flood Forecast Centre says flows from Walkerton and upstream have stabilized, but will remain high through the rest of the week.
