Saugeen and Maitland Flood Threats Ease

Local flooding concerns have eased. A Flood Watch remains in effect for the Saugeen River system. The SVCA’s Flood Forecast Centre says flows from Walkerton and upstream have stabilized, but will remain high through the rest of the week.

Update:Flood Watches and Warnings in Midwestern Ontario

A Flood Watch remains in effect today for the entire Saugeen Valley wateshed. The SVCA’s Flood Forecast Centre reports that flooding will continue today and in traditional low-lying areas. Levels are not expected to receed until late today, and it all depends on how much rain we get.
