Total Receipts, 1321 cattle 791 lambs & goats
Summary Tuesday Fed cattle sold on a strong active trade at steady prices. Choice strs & hfrs $160.00-$165.00 with a high of $170.25, second cut $156.00-160.00. Cows sold on a strong active trade at higher prices.
Thursday All classes of veal sold on a strong demand with prices $5 higher. Lambs sold steady. Sheep sold steady on a good active trade. Goats sold steady while kid goats sold higher.
Friday Calves and yearlings sold on an active trade at prices $3-$5 higher than last week`s strong market.
Steers

Terry McCarthy of Dublin consigned twelve steers that averaged 1425 lbs and sold for an average price of 161.31. One lim str weighed 1460 lbs and sold to Norwich Meat Packers for 168.50.
Eli H. Bauman of Wellesley consigned six steers that averaged 1579 lbs and sold for an average price of 165.94. Four char strs averaged 1575 lbs and sold to St. Helen`s Meat Packers for an average price of 166.50.

Heifers

George Hinz of Monkton consigned seven heifers that averaged 1296 lbs and sold for an average price of 162.15. One lim hfr weighed 1255 lbs and sold to Horizon Meat Packers for 170.25.
Lyle Kinsman of Kippen consigned five heifers that averaged 1221 lbs and sold for an average price of 165.34. One blk hfr weighed 1345 lbs and sold to Norwich Meat Packers for 166.50.
