Police investigating stolen heifer in North Perth

Police are investigating after someone stole a Holstein heifer from a farm in North Perth.

The theft happened sometime through December or January and was just reported to police this week.

Investigators say unknown suspects went to the rural property on Road 176, entered a locked pen inside a barn and took the heifer.

The stolen black and white heifer was 15 months old, and is valued at approximately $1200.
