Local agriculture debates highlight the calendar

Local federations of agriculture will host all candidates debates within the next two weeks.

Huron-Bruce candidates will participate in a debate in Teeswater on Tuesday, October 8 at 7:30 p.m. They will also participate in a debate in Holmesville on Thursday, October 10 hosted by the Huron County Federation of Agriculture. That will start at 8 p.m.

Before the two agriculture debates, Huron-Bruce candidates will be in Saugeen Shores Wednesday night for a general debate at the Rotary Hall at the Plex. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the debate starting at 6:30 p.m.

And a pair of debates for the candidates in Perth-Wellington coming up in the next week.

On Thursday, October 3 the candidates will be at the Moorefield Optimist Hall for the 7:30 p.m. debate hosted by the Wellington Federation of Agriculture.

Then on Monday, October 7 the Perth-Wellington candidates will be in Monkton at the Elma-Logan Recreation Complex for another 7:30 p.m. debate.

The next debate for Bruce-Grey Owen Sound candidates will be Wednesday, October 2 at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre starting at 7 p.m. and that will be hosted by the Owen Sound Chamber of Commerce.
