Crop Specialist At Lucknow District Co-op Levels Up

An FS Crop Specialist with Lucknow District Co-op has completed the requirements to become a Certified Crop Specialist in the system of FS Co-operatives.
Kim Hooey has finished an extensive series of comprehensive written and verbal exams to prove her knowledge of nutrient management practices, integrated pest management, and soil and water quality.
Allan Scott, the Co-op’s general manager, says such credentials prove Hooey and other CCS’s can find solutions to help producers sustainably optimize agricultural and economic results.
He also notes, now with the prestigious achievement under her belt, Hooey is now one of just 17 people in Ontario to hold a GROWMARK designation.
