The deadline is coming up fast for a government program that could help rural businesses or organisations pay for summer help.

The Ontario Rural Summer Jobs Service offers a hiring incentive of 2 dollars per hour to create student employment.

To qualify, the business or organisation has to be located in a town, small city or rural township with a population of 100 thousand or less.

OMAF is encouraging interested businesses or organisations to go through the on-line application process.

You could also print the application and mail or fax it to the ministry’s Guelph office.

The application deadline is April 15th.

More details, including the application form, are on the OMAFRA website.
