Lambeth Stumps Lakeshore 3-2, Force Game 7

The PJHL Western Conference Finals have reached the limit.

Andrew Fletcher scored the winner in overtime for the Lambeth Lancers for a 3-2 win at home over the Lakeshore Canadiens on Easter night. This ties the best-of-seven series at three apiece.

Game 7 will be Monday night at the Atlas Tube Centre.

The game was scoreless until there was 1:31 left in the opening period. Mitchell Jenner scored on the power play to give Lambeth a 1-0 lead before the first break.

The Canadiens tied the game, then took the lead in the middle period. Stephane Crevier used the power play to score the equalizer at 12:02. Connor Rosaasen put Lakeshore ahead with a lamplighter just 90 seconds later, and the score was 2-1 Canadiens.

The Lancers tied the game with the only goal of the third period. Jonah Goodman scored with 3:30 remaining in regulation, forcing the overtime period.

Fletcher's game-winner was scored with 5:01 left in the first overtime frame.

Brock MacDonald stopped 46 shots out of 48 in net for Lambeth. Erik Morneau had 42 saves in the loss for Lakeshore.

Puck drop at the Atlas Tube Centre Monday is scheduled for 8pm.
