The Essex 73's hammered the Dresden Kings 7-1 to take a 2-0 playoff series lead on Tuesday.
William Stadder led Essex with a hat-trick, while Riley Meyerink scored twice. Cody Leeming and Wyatt ONeil both scored once for the 73's as well.
Derek Shaw scored Dresden's only goal of the game.
The two teams face off for Game 3 on Friday at 7:30pm.
