Express Lose to the Edge 111-89

The Windsor Express failed to keep up down the stretch Saturday night.

The St. John's Edge outscored the Express 40-27 in the fourth quarter to seal a 111-89 win over Windsor at the WFCU Centre.

The Express fall to fourth place in the NBLC Central Division with a 7-11 record and their third straight loss.

Chad Frazier led in Windsor in scoring with 20 points. Damontre Harris added 17 points while Maurice Jones put in 16.

On defence, Anthony Ottley Jr. led the Express with 12 rebounds and contributed ten points for a double-double.

Coron Williams came off the bench and led the Edge with 29 points. Charles Hinkle had 24 points while Desmond Lee sank 14. Grandy Glaze led on defence with eight boards.

The Express will try to rebound Thursday night when they host the Cape Breton Highlanders.
