The Wheatley Sharks dropped a 5-2 decision to the Essex 73's on Monday.
Luke Gecse led Essex with two goals, while Justin Bondy, Michael Vieira and Cody Leeming all scored once.
Curtis Rodrigues and Dawson Iles scored the two goals for Wheatley.
The 73's are back at home on Tuesday to take on the Dresden Kings at 7pm. And then on Thursday, the Sharks are in Petrolia to face off against the Flyers at 7:30pm.
