The Essex 73's edged the Dorchester Dolphins 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday to take a 1-0 series lead in the PJHL Western Conference Final.
William Stadder scored twice for Essex, including the game winner in OT. William Stadder also scored once for the 73's.
The two teams are in Dorchester on Friday for Game 2. The puck drops at 8:30pm.
