The Sarnia Sting scored a 4-2 win over the Windsor Spitfires on Wednesday in their final home game of the season at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

Aaron Luchuk started things off with a goal for Windsor 4:12 into the game. However, Sean Josling and Ryan McGregor both scored to give Sarnia a 2-1 lead after just eight minutes. Hayden McCool quickly followed up with a goal to tie the game for the Spitfires, making it 2-2 going into the second period.

Anthony Salinitri scored early in the second frame to give the lead back to Sarnia. Josling then scored his second of the night to put the Sting ahead by two goals.  Sarnia was able to hold off Windsor in the final period to ensure the win.

Despite the loss, Windsor outshot Sarnia 43-27.
