Good Time For Clash With OHL's Best

The Windsor Spitfires can extend their win streak to four games when they host the Erie Otters Thursday night.

Outscoring their opponents 15-5 last weekend, Associate Coach Trevor Letowski says there's no better time for the Spits to take on a team ranked second best in Canada and leading the OHL with 93 points.

"It's good to get this team and see where we are against them," he explains. "Obviously we played the Soo and London tough [last weekend], and it's great to get another tough game here."

Letowski believes Windsor is playing some of its best hockey with just six regular season games left on the schedule.

The Otters have lost two straight coming into Thursday's contest.

"They've actually struggled a little bit lately, but they've had some time to prepare for this game and I'm sure they're approaching it as a game that they want to play well in," says Letowski.

The Spitfires travel to Sarnia Friday before closing out the weekend against Flint on Sunday afternoon, back at the WFCU Centre.
