Express Lose to Orangeville 98-95 in OT

The Windsor Express forced overtime Saturday night but fell in a hard contest to the Orangeville A's on the road 98-95.

DeAndre Thomas sunk a field goal with 2.1 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 88, though the A's outscored the Express 10-7 in overtime.

Warren Ward led the Express with 26 points, plus five rebounds.  Thomas added 15 points.  Maurice Jones picked up 14 points and also got 16 assists for the Express.  Juan Pattillo led Windsor defensively with 14 rebounds and Jernard Jarreau was not too far behind with 13.

Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson had 20 points to lead the A's, while Stefan Nastic added 16 points and led defensively with 17 boards.  Rick Bodiford and Slim Magee chipped in 13 points apiece.

The Express began the game strong on offence, though Orangeville came back in the second quarter and held a 41-40 lead at halftime.

Windsor hosts the London Lightning Wednesday night.
