Ryan Alexander had a hat trick as the Amherstburg Integrity Admirals harpooned the Wheatley Sharks 10-3 Sunday night at the Libro Centre.

The Admirals currently sit in third place in the PJHL Stobbs Division standings with 48 points, five points behind Lakeshore and Essex, the co-division leaders.

Kasey Basile started the scoring for Amherstburg at 5:39 in the opening period with a power play goal.  Alexander notched his first goal over three minutes later.

The Sharks jumped back into it after the first intermission with back-to-back goals, one from Cam Pickersgill and a power play score from Cole Butler.  The Addys would then score five unanswered goals before the second intermission.  Two came from Aidan Ryan, and one each from Cory Burns, Jordan Luciw and Caleb Paquette.

The Sharks pulled their goalie at least twice during the game, and the first time cost them as Alexander scored his second goal of the game at 1:55 of the third period.  He then sealed the hat trick at 4:49.   Wheatley did score once more in the third, on a power play tally from Mitch Lantin, but Curtis Prymack got it back on a short-handed empty net goal at 12:33.

Matt Badour had 23 saves in his first win in goal for Amherstburg.  Erik Morneau took the loss for Wheatley, allowing six goals before being replaced in net by Daniel Tonietto.

Austin Bentley had a goal and two assists as the Blenheim Blades beat the Lakeshore Canadiens in overtime 4-3 Sunday night at Blenheim Memorial Arena.

The Blades are in fourth place in the Stobbs Division standings with 44 points, collecting the win from the Canadiens who fall into a first-place tie with the Essex 73s.

Blenheim got three goals in a row in the first period.  Drew Marlatt picked up the first one at 8:23 in the frame.  Bryce Broad followed suit just 25 seconds later.  Lakeshore's Steven Sartor would then serve a misconduct for boarding and the Blades' Nick Delyzer cashed in with a power play goal.

The Canadiens got two of those goals back in the second period.  Ameen Fadel got Lakeshore on the board at 5:35.  Connor Rosaasen made it a one-goal game later in the period.

In the third period, it was Joe Binder's unassisted goal that tied the game for Lakeshore and sent it into overtime.  The Blades had a man advantage thanks to a tripping penalty on Lakeshore's Michael Long at the end of regulation.  Bentley would only need 16 seconds to score the winner for Blenheim.

Eric Stewardson turned away 37 out of 40 Lakeshore shots in goal for the Blades.  Colin Tetreault stopped 35 Blenheim shots.

The Blades face another test Tuesday when they visit the 73s in Essex.  The Canadiens travel to Mooretown Wednesday.
