Naming Rights Of New Detroit Arena Announced

The Detroit Red Wings will play at Little Caesars Arena when the new multi-use facility opens in the fall of 2017.

Little Caesars purchased the naming rights for an average of $6.25-million a year for the next 20 years.

"We were founded in the Detroit area 57 years ago as a family company and grew to become the world's largest carryout-only pizza chain from right here in the city." said David Scrivano, president and CEO of Little Caesars. "As we continue to add stores in more countries across the globe, and as we prepare to expand our world headquarters campus right here in the District Detroit to accommodate our growth, now is the perfect time to sign on as a naming rights partner for what is going to be one of the world's premier sports and entertainment destinations."

The brand will be seen on the roof of the arena, the exterior, at the entrances and at centre ice.
