Did your power go out last night? It did for thousands of people in south and west Windsor.
Enwin says there was a problem with the transmission line that delivers power from across the province to the Windsor area. The line is owned by Hydro One and connects to Enwin's transformer stations.
The problem affected two transformer stations, the Malden Transformer Station and the Keith Transformer Station.
Enwin crews worked to re-route the power from other areas in their system as quickly as possible.
Enwin spoke with Hydro One officials, and so far, there is no indication what caused the problem.
At the height of the outage, 14,067 Enwin customers suffered an outage.
In Essex County, an equivalent number of customers were also affected.
The outage started at 9:51 p.m. and most customers were back online by 10:11 p.m., but if any customer is still experiencing a loss of power, call 519-255-2727.
