Three face gun charges after road rage incident

The inability to control their emotions behind the wheel has resulted in three men facing gun charges.

Ontario Provincial Police say the charges stem from a road rage incident that occurred around 2 p.m. September 8 on Highway 3 in Kingsville. According to police, the drivers of the two involved vehicles pulled over to discuss the issue. One of the drivers is accused of pulling a weapon and brandishing it at two men in the other vehicle.

Everyone involved returned to their vehicles without anyone getting hurt, but OPP officers soon stopped one of the vehicles on Manning Rd. and conducted a high-risk traffic stop. All three occupants in the vehicle were arrested without incident.

Ronald Antaya, 22, and 40-year-old Michael Pereira, both of Windsor and David McComb, 25, of Thorold will appear in court on various firearm and criminal code offences.

The investigation is ongoing. Further information will be reported as it becomes available.
