Thanks to the help of Tecumseh firefighters, a mother and two children have been freed from a jammed elevator.
According to Tecumseh Fire Rescue Service Chief Doug Pitre, the incident took place at their apartment building at 250 Manning Rd. on Sunday at around 10:30am. He says the woman, as well as her 8-year-old and 1.5-year-old children, were stuck for about 25 minutes before firefighters arrived.
Pitre says although the kids were a bit upset from the loud alarms going off, everyone was fine in the end.
