Essex County OPP say the death of a Leamington man is being investigated following a physical altercation.
Police say the incident took place between 8pm and 10pm on Friday on Talbot St. E in Leamington.
According to police, two men were involved in a physical altercation. A 54-year-old Leamington man was taken to a local hospital later in the evening where he was pronounced dead.
The other man involved was arrested and remains in custody pending further investigation.
Police are looking for witnesses who may have observed this altercation or have any information that can assist in their investigation.
