Alleged Kidnapping Victim In Windsor Lucky To Escape

A Windsor man has been charged with kidnapping, robbery, and forcible confinement but officers are still looking for another man.

Investigators say a man was forced into a vehicle on Wyandotte St., just east of Pillette Rd. on Thursday and brought to a house.

He was able to get away to call police from a convenience store on Strabane Ave. near Riverside Dr.

Police say the victim had arranged to meet one of the suspects and knows both of them.

In addition to the charges of kidnapping, robbery, and forcible confinement, 21-year-old Blake Carter is charged with uttering death threats and breach of probation.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 25-year-old Anthony Pompa of Essex County for kidnapping, robbery, forcible confinement, and uttering death threats.
