VIDEO: Police Searching For Violent Groper

Windsor police have released a video of a man suspected of groping a girl and punching a store employee.

Police say officers were called to a store on Tecumseh Rd. just east of McDougall St. for an assault on July 12 at around 5:30pm.

Investigators say a woman approached an employee and reported that the unknown man touched her daughter inappropriately.

Police say another employee approached the man and asked that he leave the store. The man then punched the employee causing him to fall to the ground. The clerk suffered non-life threatening injuries and the suspect fled the store.

Police are asking for public assistance in identifying the suspect and are also looking to speak with the female groping victim, who is possibly in her late teens, but left the scene before speaking with officers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.catchcrooks.com.
