A man wanted for a 2017 murder in east Windsor has been arrested.
Windsor police say 19-year-old Sumar Al-Rubayi of Windsor was taken into custody by police in Calgary on Friday.
Sumar Al-Rubayi was wanted on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of 23-year-old Jarvas Anthony Scott. The Windsor man was shot at a house party on Heathfield Court near Little River Rd. and Riverdale Ave. on November 4, 2017.
Al-Rubayi was transported back to Windsor on Monday.
Two other men and a woman were arrested November 6, 2017, at a home on Josephine Ave. near University Ave.
Idrisso Palmer, a 19-year-old man from Windsor, is charged with first-degree murder.
Neil Tap, a 20-year-old man from Windsor, is charged with first-degree murder and possessing a firearm while prohibited.
Dazzmirhal Scott, a 24-year-old Windsor woman, is charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder and possession of a prohibited weapon (unrelated to the murder).
