Caesars Windsor Extends Shutdown Until End Of May

Caesars Windsor is making the call to postpone shows scheduled up to the end of May over the ongoing strike.

The decision to cancel hotel reservations and postpone events came down Monday afternoon. The shows that have been postponed include Pitbull, Lee Brice, and Daniel O’Donnell.

“This is a difficult message to release again," said Regional President Kevin Laforet, Caesars Entertainment. "As with earlier decisions to postpone upcoming concerts and cancel hotel reservations, it is necessary in order to give our customers advance notice to make alternate plans.”

The postponed shows at the Colosseum will be rescheduled at a later date. Information regarding future shows and refunds can be found on their website.

At this point, shows scheduled beyond May 31 will go on as planned.

About 2,300 workers at Caesars Windsor walked off the job April 5.
