Arson Suspected In Windsor House Fire

A fire at a Windsor multiplex was set on purpose, investigators say.

Windsor Fire and Rescue says it happened around 2:30am Sunday at the house on Assumption St. across from Begley Public School.

Investigators say two separate fires were set within the structure, one in a stairwell, the other in a lower hallway. When firefighters arrived on scene, smoke could be seen pouring out of the house.

There were no injuries. but two people have been displaced.

Investigators had been on scene much of Sunday.

Damage is estimated at $10,000.
