A suspect wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a vicious assault on an autistic man in Mississauga has been arrested in Windsor.

Windsor police worked with the Peel Regional Police Service to locate Parmvir Chahil, 21, at an area hotel Friday morning. He was arrested without incident and taken back to the Peel region.

He is one of three suspects wanted in the attack that occurred on March 13, at around 10:45pm, at the Square One bus terminal located at 200 Rathburn Rd. W in Mississauga.

Police have released video of the incident which shows three men assaulting the victim as he sits on a flight of steps.

A Canada-wide warrant has also been issued for 25-year-old Ronjot Singh Dhami for one count of aggravated assault in connection with the attack. His last known address is in Surrey, British Columbia.  Police are also looking to identify a third suspect in the attack who may go by the first name of Jason.

As a result of the investigation, two other Windsor residents, an 18-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, were arrested on Friday as accessories after the fact to the aggravated assault. Both have been released on a promise to appear in court.
