The Town of Kingsville wants feedback on a plan to enhance the Cottam area.
The Cottam Revitalization Committee is conducting an online survey to get public input on revitalizing Cottam, which became a part of Kingsville following amalgamation in 1999.
The survey covers topics that will be discussed at a public open house on May 8.
Committee chairperson Kim Gilliland says this input is vital to the next stage of the process.
“The revitalization of Cottam begins with a clear and effective plan for the future development of our town," says Gilliland in a news release. "The success of this visioning process hinges on the input and feedback of the members of our community. Working together, we can create a better future."
Kingsville Town Council has already signed off on a downtown improvement plan for Cottam. The survey is also designed to help council and town administration make sure that Cottam's distinct identity is preserved.
The survey is available online with one geared toward residents, and one for businesses. Hard copies are also available at Kingsville Town Hall and in various Cottam businesses.
