The OPP are investigating after a woman said she was sexually assaulted by a stranger in Leamington.
Officers responded to a sexual assault complaint in Leamington on Sunday at around 5am. Police say a woman reported that she had been sexually assaulted by a male stranger. According to police, the man ran away before police arrived.
Through investigation, a suspect was identified and arrested shortly after.
A 28-year-old man from the Republic of Honduras was held for a bail hearing and released to appear in a Leamington court on March 29.
The investigation is ongoing.
