Jackson Park in Windsor is almost back to its pre-holiday appearance.
The city says the tear-down process from Bright Lights Windsor is continuing, but most of Jackson Park is open again.
The Queen Elizabeth II Sunken Garden remains closed. The garden is still fenced off to allow the central tree to be removed but the gates will be opened to allow pedestrian traffic through by the end of the week.
The park's perimeter trails have been cleared by city staff, according to a news release from the city's parks and recreation department. Access to trails should not be an issue, though some items may not be removed right away due to frozen ground.
This past holiday season was the first for Bright Lights Windsor, which featured giant displays of holiday lights. The event marked the end of the official celebration of Windsor's 125th and Canada's 150th birthdays.
