A suspect involved in a convenience store robbery Wednesday night may be suffering from injuries after being hit with a baseball bat.
Officers were called to a business in the area of Shepherd St. and Dufferin Pl. around 8:20pm. The suspect entered the store brandishing a knife and took a quantity of cash.
At one point the employee struck the suspect in the arm with a baseball bat. Police say it's unclear if he was injured.
The suspect left the store and got into the passenger seat of a dark coloured car waiting nearby.
The suspect is described as a white male around 5'8-5'10 with a thin build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black hoodie with a green monster energy drink logo, black sweatpants, grey running shoes with white soles and a balaclava covering his face.
