The Windsor Spitfires dropped a 5-3 decision to the Sarnia Sting in their fourth straight loss on Thursday.
Luke Boka and Daniel D'Amico kicked off the game by each scoring a goal for the Spits just under six minutes into the first period. The Sting scored late in the frame to cut Windsor's lead in half heading into the second.
Chris Playfair scored 3:34 into the second to give Windsor a 3-1 lead, however, Sarnia scored two more of their own to tie the game heading into the final period.
The Sting added another two unanswered goals early in the third to clinch the win over the Spits.
Spitfires goalie Michael DiPietro made 21 saves out of 26 shots on net.
The Spitfires will look to snap their losing streak when they take on the Barie Colts on Saturday. The puck drops at 7:30pm in Barrie.
