Transit Windsor Offers Auto Show Package

Transit Windsor is offering car buffs a chance to see the latest rides without having to drive.

The transit authority is offering special tunnel bus packages to the upcoming North American International Auto Show at Detroit's Cobo Center. The packages include round-trip tunnel bus fare and a ticket to the Auto Show itself. The bus will drop passengers off near the Cobo Center entrance.

The cost for the package is $25 a passenger. For tunnel bus use only, the fare is $5 one-way or $10 round-trip.

Packages can be purchased at the Windsor International Transit Terminal on Chatham St W every day from 7am to 9pm, and at the Transit Windsor office on North Service Rd E weekdays from 8:30am to 4pm. Tickets are also available at any city customer care centre.

The NAIAS opens for press and industry previews next week and the public from January 20 to 28. The show is open from 9am to 10pm every day except January 28 when it closes at 7pm. Admission is not allowed within one hour of closing.

Visit Transit Windsor's official Auto Show page for complete information.
