A man hit by a vehicle in downtown Windsor has died of his injuries.
Windsor Police say the 56-year-old man struck at Goyeau Ave and Elliott St E Friday afternoon passed away sometime Saturday morning.
Police told BlackburnNewsWindsor.com that the man was on Goyeau around 2pm when he was hit by a silver Dodge Caravan.
The area was closed for several hours so investigators could piece together what happened.
The investigation is ongoing and the victim's name has not been released. There is also no word on potential charges. Police would like to speak to any witnesses who have not already given statement.
