Tecumseh Extending Yard Waste Pick-Up

Tecumseh residents will have more time to rake their leaves.

The town is extending its yard waste pick-up until Monday, December 11, to allow residents a chance to clean up their backyards and throw out any plant waste before the winter snow flies.

The final pick-up of the season was scheduled for this coming Monday, but the town is pushing it forward one week due to milder weather.

Kirby McArdle, the town’s manager of roads and fleet, says that after the 11th there will be no more yard waste pick-up until spring, with the exception of Christmas tree disposal which is scheduled to begin in mid-January

Yard waste should be placed by the curb Sunday evening. Windsor Disposal Services will begin pickup at 4am this Monday and next.
