Police Seek Second Suspect In Targeted Assault

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a second man wanted in connection with a targeted assault in Windsor.

The Windsor Police Service says on November 11, a dispute broke out at a home on Dougall Ave. about a transaction between the victim and another man, which ended when the man left in cab.  He returned a short time later with a second man, and both were carrying weapons.

The 46-year-old male victim was hit with a weapon several times, and suffered severe injuries to his head, arm and leg. Something was then stolen from him and the suspects left the home.

The victim was found some time later by a person visiting the home who then called 911. The victim was rushed to hospital with potentially life threatening injuries. His current condition is unknown.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on November 13 and charged with aggravated assault and robbery in connection to the assault.

On Friday, police issued a warrant for 35-year-old Michael Patrick Jackson of Windsor on charges of aggravated assault and robbery. He is described as 5'7" tall , 210 lbs, with short brown hair and green eyes.
