Windsor police say charges have been laid after a weekend stabbing.
Officers were called to Curry Ave. around 2:30am Saturday for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed during a fight. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police determined that there had been a group of people fighting in the middle of the street. The man who was stabbed had yelled at them to leave the area. They did, but returned a short time later and one was seen damaging the screen door of a nearby home.
The victim chased the group and got into a fight with one of the men. During the fight, he was stabbed
Police later arrested a suspect at a home on Dufferin Place.
Bailey Sterling, 20, of Windsor is charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, mischief under $5,000, breach of probation, and two counts of breach of recognizance.
