UPDATE: Photos And Description Of Armed Robbery Suspects Released

Police are investigating after a man with a black laptop bag on his head held up a Mac's convenience store in east Windsor.

That was one of two armed robberies early Tuesday morning.

The first was around 12:30am at a bank near Tecumseh Rd. E and Walker Rd.

A man was making a withdrawal from a bank machine when a man with a handgun walked into the vestibule and demanded money. The victim refused, and after a brief scuffle, the suspect fled on foot on Turner Rd.

The victim suffered minor injuries to his finger in the struggle where he tried to grab the suspect's gun.

The suspect is described as white and 5'10", wearing a light-colored bandana on his face.

At 1:45am, officers were called to a second armed robbery at the Mac's convenience store at the corner of Seminole St. and Pillette Rd. where a man threatened the clerk with a handgun.

Once he got the money, he left on foot, and nobody was hurt.

That man was described as white and 5'8", wearing a white kerchief on his face, a black laptop bag on his head, a white t-shirt, beige shorts, white socks and black shoes.
