Police Briefs – Friday, September 8 2017

The Ontario Provincial Police have arrested an 18-year-old Kingsville man after a break-in at the Kingsville Historical Park building.

Police made the arrest September 1, following the break-in on August 22.

The suspect faces charges of break-and-enter, and mischief under $5,000.

He is expected to appear in a Windsor court October 4.

Police are looking for two suspects after a woman was assaulted and robbed while walking home in Leamington.

The OPP says on Wednesday around 1:30am, the woman was walking along Setterington St. when she was approached by two men who assaulted her and took her cell phone.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, around 5’9″ tall, with a stocky build and short light brown hair. He was last seen wearing a plain white sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect was a white male in his 20s, around 5’5″ tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing jogging pants and a grey hoodie covering his head.
