Police Briefs – Thursday August 31, 2017

A 30-year-old Windsor man faces charges and police in Amherstburg are looking for more suspects after a number of thefts from parked vehicles.

The thefts were in the Golfview and Pointe West subdivisions around 5:30am August 19.

The vehicles were not locked, and police are reminding residents to always lock their vehicles, houses, sheds and garages.

A photo of another man believed to be involved has been released by police. It was taken by surveillance cameras at the 7-11 convenience store on Ottawa St. in Windsor.

Amherstburg police hope the public can help them identify the man in the photo.
